Yosemite National Park has been on my "Dream" list for far too long in my life. 2012 is the year to visit!
Yosemite National Park is located in the central Sierra Nevada of California. It is 4 hours drive from San Francisco and 6 hours from Los Angeles.
95% of the park is pure wilderness and contains over thousands of lakes and ponds. It is almost the size of Rhode Island with over 800 miles of hiking trails and 1600 miles of streams. (stats courtesy of good ol wikipedia!)
All I need now is my Jeep, tent and someone to join me on my adventure!
